The CCAF helps airmen achieve their academic goals by using on-the-job training and traditional educational programs as part of a flexible degree program that grants military members an Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS). The CCAF partners with more than 113 affiliated Air Force technical schools.
How many credits do you need to get your CCAF?
In order to obtain a CCAF degree, Airmen need to earn 34 credits in the following disciplines: oral communication, written communication, math, social science, humanities, program electives and leadership management military studies.

Sophia Learning courses are not transferrable as CCAF general education courses. Please contact us at [email protected] BEFORE signing up for any of their courses. Some may apply to technical or LMMS requirements but we must contact CCAF first to verify transfer.
Does CCAF accept ACE credit?
Of course they do accept ACE credit, but the only ones are CLEP, DSST, and UXCEL that I’m aware of. Have your ACE transcript sent to TESU or Excelsior they will convert your courses. Then have TESU / Excelsior send an official transcript to CCAF.
Does CCAF accept AP credit?
