Naval War College

For over 100 years, graduates of the Naval War College have gone on to proudly serve our nation in leadership positions throughout all branches of the armed forces and in the defense community. The Naval War College also plays an important role in the international community as our Naval Command College and Naval Staff Colleges have been fostering friendship, knowledge, and cooperation among friendly and allied navies from around the globe. Our Center for Naval Warfare Studies is the Navy’s “think tank,” providing the means to help define the future Navy while directly complementing the curriculum of the Naval War College.

Newport, RI

Newport is a city located in Newport County, Rhode Island. It is the largest city on Aquidneck Island in Narragansett Bay. It is the home of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, where important tennis players are commemorated, as well as a number of mansions dating back to the Gilded Age, including Belcourt Castle, The Breakers, Rosecliff, Marble House and The Elms. Some of these are open for guided tours
