The Pine Bluff Arsenal Materiel Readiness Center provides specialized manufacturing, maintenance, storage and distribution of readiness products and delivers technical services to the war fighter and homeland defender, while focusing on quality and value when responding to national defense needs. PBA's Primary Core Missions Include: Conventional Ammunition, Chemical Biological Defense, Engineering and Technical Support, Mobile and Powered System Support, Base Operations Support to tenant activities

Pine Bluff is located in the mid-south region of Arkansas. The town has a great historic downtown district, outdoor recreation, attractions, a diverse manufacturing base thousands of friendly people.

Serving as host to 30-35 bass tournaments each year, Jefferson County Regional Park has earned Pine Bluff the nickname of "Bass Capital of the World.

The leading agricultural products include cotton, soybeans, cattle, rice, poultry, timber and catfish. Major employers are Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Tyson Foods, International Paper, the Pine Bluff Arsenal and Union Pacific Railroad.
